HOLISTIC SUBSTANCE ABUSE REHABILITATION FACILITY

Holistic treatment involves rehabilitation programs that focus on the whole individual, not just the presenting or primary problem. This approach acknowledges and actively attempts to treat other conditions that may impede rehab success. Holistic treatment may also implement a variety of natural activities that support a healthier lifestyle, such as yoga, meditation, art therapy or outdoor activities.

Substance abuse Rehab facilities are all about “getting clean” – the intention of the space with read directly with the concept using clean lines, forming a modern design. The parti of a tree will be incorporated through linear architectural elements that will be “growing” upward and outward – symbolizing the transition the patients will be going through during their time here. Creating a balanced healing environment– synchronizing the mind and body through holistic healing methods... Giving patients the treatment they need to heal and grow.

The Spaces designed include the Reception and Lounge, Group Meeting Space, and the Residential Suites.

This project was done second semester of senior year as my thesis project. The programs used to create this design include Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe creative suites.
